Critical Issues with TAPESYS

Compatibility note for TAPESYS V6.1 and V6.2 with remote history processing...

Although TAPESYS V6.1 and V6.2 are compatible with each other, they are not compatible in terms of remote history processing. If users want to use remote history processing, they must run with TAPESYS V6.1 on all systems in the TAPESYS instance or with TAPESYS V6.2 on all systems in the TAPESYS instance.

V6.2.2 and RMU Backups

Using TAPESYS V6.2.2 with RMU backups yielded the following error:

$ if encryption_active .and. mount_with_compaction
%DCL-W-UNDSYM, undefined symbol - check validity and spelling
\ENCRYPTION_ACTIVE\

This error has been fixed. Please contact Software Partners for the minipatch that can be applied to solve this problem. (This fix will be included in TAPESYS V6.2.3.)
